Cherri:
I'd rather just get a job (my parents have a bakery) or go to an online school, but whenever I bring it up to my mom she yells at me saying I'm just making excuses because i'm lazy.

Time out isn't working any more. What should I do?

I need some creative way to help them to understand that their behavior is unacceptable.

I've tried behavior charts and rewarding them for good behavior.

They use to hate it, now they don't care.

I've tried also giving them strikes, and at the third strike they take naps instead of quiet time, and then another three strikes, they go to bed early.

Until now I have been putting them in their rooms when they misbehave and after their time is up, I will go in and have them explain to me why they were there.

We are careful about what they watch, the daycare kids are very well behaved and my husband and I don't act like that.
